Handwritten poetry, and journaling of matrescence, previously shared in my local London, driven online by the pandemic, helps me process the strangeness of Time as a mother, brings me back to my body in a world increasingly lived virtually, and provides a framework for my limited autobiographical memory, in supportive community. This hourglass nonet articulates the reality of ‘resilience’ – as a mother repeatedly settling myself and others in the face of constant changes.
